Out & About: There are plenty of public footpaths offering stunning views of the Lancashire moors. Take a stroll across the hotel grounds to reach Grane reservoirs or climb the Tor and view Rossendale from this vantage point. The Ribble Valley and Trough of Bowland are within a short drive, the area also offers several country houses to visit. Just a short stroll from the hotel is Helmshore textile museum offering a glimpse of Helmshore’s part in the textile revolution. For the younger and more energetic, Rossendale offers its own dry ski slope. Rock climbing, windsurfing and quad biking are also all offered locally.
